Reporting To: Professional Engineer Design Team Lead

Overview:
Seeking a skilled engineer to support our client's Pole Analysis team. The role involves ensuring the accuracy and quality of pole profile plans and collaborating with various team members to meet regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:
Quality Control: Review and ensure the quality of Pole Profile Plans created by our client's CAD team, third-party contractors, or subcontractors, adhering to the client's standards. Verify consistency with detailed fiber designs, Google Map street view, survey documents, and photos.
Error Tracking: Identify and document common errors to prepare feedback for reducing rework in future projects. Proficiency in SPIDA v7 and Quickpole is essential.
Collaboration: Work closely with designers, leads, professional engineers, CAD technicians, and surveyors to complete pole line analysis in accordance with Ontario Regulation 22/04 and Hydro standards.
Documentation: Prepare application forms, reports, and documents for the P.Eng package required by Hydro companies.
Document Management: Upload documents to client and utility servers, facilitating communication between the lead engineer and clients/utilities, and assist the lead in enhancing management policies.
Application Creation: Create P.Eng. Joint Use (JU) applications based on Fiber to the Home (FTTH) design principles and Bell standards, if necessary.

Qualifications:
Experience in pole line analysis and quality control.
Proficiency in SPIDA v7 and Quickpole.
Familiarity with Ontario Regulation 22/04 and Hydro standards.
Strong collaborative skills to work effectively with diverse team members.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify and document errors.
Competence in preparing technical documents and reports.
